Post Care

Microblading Post Care

DAY 1

For the first 3 hours post procedure clean the eyebrow area with wet cotton pad, and distilled water very gently every hour (Total of 3x). After the last wipe apply a thin layer of the Skin Candy.

Before bed time, gently clean the eyebrows one last time with cold water. Let it air dry. Apply a thin layer of skin candy (rice grain size). Sleep on your back.

DAY 2 through 7

Clean the eyebrows only if you see lymph. If no lymph, just apply skin candy 3 times a day for the next 7 days.

Make sure your hands are clean or use an applicator.

The eyebrows need to breath so make sure you apply thin layer of the cream. If someone else can see you have it on you have applied too much.

Apply the cream 3x times a day for the next 7 days.

No Sweating
No Sauna
No Swimming
No Makeup for 10 days
No Water

No sun exposure for 30 days
No Facials
No Laser treatments
No Retinol creams

1 - For normal skin apply the cream morning, afternoon and evening for the next seven days.

2 - Very dry skin you can apply up to 5x a day for the next seven days.

3 - Very oily skin apply once or none if your skin is excessively oily.

When you feel the skin is starting to pull and get dry apply more of the ointment. The area needs to be hydrated but also it needs to breathe so please be aware.

When the peeling starts don’t ever pick on the eyebrows. You can actually apply ointment to help the scabs to stay in place.

Remember that if you pull anything (scabs) you will be taking the pigment out of the skin. That’s not what you want, the scabs must fall on it’s own.

THINGS THAT CAN HAVE AN EFFECT ON YOUR PERMANENT MAKEUP

Your Own Metabolism:
Your overall health, age, medical condition can affect the outcome, and determine how long you will retain the color.

Condition of Your Skin:
The elasticity of the skin, excessive oiliness/dryness, uneven texture, scar tissue, can all cause different outcomes on different people.

Medications & Supplements:
Over the counter and prescribed may have a negative or positive affect on the healed result, depending on the product.

Medical Conditions:
Temporary and chronic conditions can cause a loss of color. Just be aware of this and expect to have a follow up session or two... Remember, higher expectations may require more follow up sessions.

Chemical Exfoliants:
Such as alpha hydroxy, glycolic or phenol acids, Retin-A, Retinol, fruit peels and bleaching creams should be applied AROUND the tattooed areas, not over the areas, to prevent premature fading.

Mechanical Exfoliants:
Such as DermaPlaning and Microdermabrasion. These services do not typically come in contact with tattooed areas, but if they do, could cause premature fading as well. If you shave your brows, premature fading will occur.

Cosmetic Procedures:
Botox, Dermal Fillers, Facial Surgery, Facial Implants, Fat Transfers will most likely alter the appearance of tattooed areas, requiring corrective measures.

Sun exposure after 30 days:
Even casual exposure (riding in a car) without Sun Screen/Block is bad for your skin and bad for your permanent makeup as well! We recommend a sunblock that has ANTIOXIDANTS to prevent damage caused by free radicals.

Your LIFESTYLE matters:
If you’re a smoker, heavy drinker, and exposed in the sun all day; Your results will not be optimal.
