Why Eyebrows Secret Microblanding?
When it comes to performing a microblading procedure, the difference in skills, experience, and artistry between individuals could be very wide and so are the results and the cost of the procedure. The truth is not all microbladers are created equally so even though there are thousands of people performing microblading across the United States, the way it is done by the Eyebrows Secret that perform it is unlike any other in the industry. Isabel performs microblading treatments with unique, world recognized style of brow shaping and natural strokes.
Frequently Asked Question
Microblading is a semi permanent technique using color pigment drawn onto the skin giving you natural looking eyebrows.
The technique used is natural feathering of hair like strokes creating a beautifully designed set of brows. It’s like imitating your hair growth into fine lines and filling the gaps thus defining a 3D definition with a fuller and thicker finish. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and skincare routine.
Microblading, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to the facial morphology and golden mean (phi1,618). The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows.
Treatment is done by using sterile and disposable tools, while pigments are of the highest standard.
Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures.
The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal. DO NOT PICK. These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis.
Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 40% to 60%. At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much.
Healing is specific to each client. It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 1-2 yrs to maintain its fresh natural appearance. Fading will happen after each procedure. We do not have control over your bodies healing process. You may need to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results. This is an enhancement to your brows not a permanent one.
If they fade more than you like, it is ok to pencil or powder until your scheduled appointment. This is an enhancement and will never be a permanent solution.
Permanent Makeup is an art, not a science. Clients results will vary and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. We have no control over your bodies healing process and each time a procedure is done, the pigment will have less retention due to scar tissue. Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal but brows are sisters, not twins.
Absolutely no water on them, Sun, Sweating, Exercise or Exertion of any kind prior to the procedure or after the procedure for 10 days.
NO SUN 2 WEEKS PRIOR & 3 WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE. 1 DAY WILL RUIN THE RESULTS IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE 10 DAY AFTERCARE PROTOCOL.
A consultation is not necessary.
However, we recommend contacting us if you have any of the following:
1. Problematic skin
2. Have serious health issues
3. Take certain prescription medications
5. Already have an old PMU on your eyebrows.
Before the treatment, get to know well the post-treatment care procedure. Healed results will vary with each individual client. No guarantees can or will be made. Additional sessions (at a minimum charge) may be required to obtain optimal results. We have the right to refuse any client. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently.
Brows will take about 4- 6 weeks until they reach their final look. But it only takes 2 weeks for scabbing process to complete. After 2 weeks you can return to normal routine and activities.
We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 9 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.
Anyone with oily skin. Oily skin will cause the hairstrokes to become thicker over time. The oil in the skin causes the pigment underneath the skin to disperse. If you suspect you have oily skin, we offer a consultation over email.
Just send us a photo of your skin without makeup at its normal level of oily-ness and one of our Master Artists will evaluate your skin and make their best recommendation. You can upload a photo on our contact page. Clients with oily skin are better suited for Combo Brows or Powder Brows.

The Healing Process
Taking care of your new brows after treatment is extremely important to how your eyebrows will look after they are fully healed and the longevity of your eyebrows.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
DAY 1
Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.
DAY 2 - 7
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands.
Spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.
Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny. If so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing.
Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.

The Healing Process
A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason your 6-8 weeks touchup appointment is necessary. After the first touchup appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experience the fading process differently and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year.
